Mr. Pak suffers from age-related macular degeneration and attends regular Eye OPD follow up Hospital. He is a widower and living alone in Hong Kong. Financially he relies on CSSA. Because of his eye disease, he requires treatment of three self-financing LUCENTIS intravitreal injections and he had paid the 1^st injections fee. However, as Mr. Pak is on CSSA, ha has genuine financial problem to settle the 2^nd and 3^rd injections fee. So, the 2^nd and 3^rd injection are pending.

Our chairman – Dr. Chu and our director – Dr. Chan visited Mr. Pak once we received his application.  We decide to sponsor him the cost of two injections – around HKD$17,400.00
